Conservative Catholics (Italy) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Conservative Catholics (Italy)
The Conservative Catholics ((イタリア語:Cattolici Conservatori)) was a right-wing conservative political group in Italy, active from 1861 as a king of "Historical far-right" (composed by strong conservatives and clericalists), but became important only in the early years of 1900s. It emerged in 1913 from the right-wing of the clerical Catholic Electoral Union. In the 1913 general election the party won 1.8% of the vote and 9 seats in the Chamber of Deputies.〔Nohlen, D & Stöver, P (2010) ''Elections in Europe: A data handbook'', p1047 ISBN 978-3-8329-5609-7〕 In 1919 the Catholics were merged with other clerical parties and groupings in the Italian People's Party, that gained 20.5% and 100 seats in the 1919 general election.〔Francesco Leoni, ''Storia dei partiti politici italiani'', Guida, Naples 2001〕〔Piergiorgio Corbetta; Maria Serena Piretti, ''Atlante storico-elettorale d'Italia'', Zanichelli, Bologna 2009〕 ==Electoral results==
